Zing Health is a smaller Medicare Advantage insurer that focuses on specific metro areas. It offers HMO, HMO Special Needs, PPO, and PPO Special Needs plans in select states (Zing Health).
Where Zing is offered
Zing lists plans in counties across six states (Zing Health):
- Illinois: including Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry, and Will counties
- Indiana: including Marion, Hamilton, Lake, and Porter counties
- Michigan: including Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, and Kent counties
- Ohio: including Cuyahoga, Summit, Stark, and Lucas counties
- Tennessee: including Davidson, Shelby, and Williamson counties
- Mississippi: including Hinds, DeSoto, and Madison counties
For 2027, Zing is expanding into new counties in Indiana, Michigan, Mississippi, and Ohio (Zing Health).

An example of a 2027 Zing plan
One Michigan plan, Zing Open Choice MI (PPO), has a $0 monthly plan premium and a $6,450 in-network out-of-pocket maximum. You still pay your Part B premium (Zing Health Summary of Benefits). Every plan is different, so compare the one offered in your county.

- October 15 to December 7: Annual Enrollment Period. Changes start January 1
